I got 0 on the old Britishness test? I wonder what questions they'll ask me here when I go for the old Citzenship, just like Our Nime? (any takers)

Never mind Iran John and the re-kindling of nothing new whatso'ever (barring the President saying them that is), if the latest reports accusing Pakistan of recently bombing India prove correct, we'll have a really serious ball game deweloping, innit.
One thing that seriously concerns me is the fact that 60's British & Yanky etc, National Servicemen who were too young to vote, were still sent to conflict areas (Palestine for instance), I personally think this is an absolute travesty of human rights, and a stain on Demockery itself

Probably not - as you seem overexcited enough without encouragement.

I think you're sounding more & more like Clement Freud as every day passes Our Adders! I must say i Is desperately looking forward to the wonderful Annie Lennox and her chums getting back together for some more jigs soon too, innuit
Remember when Maggie allowed a 13 year old girl (British Citizen & born there) in Northern England to legally marry and be conjugally enjoyed by her dirty much older old man! Yes, so do I, and it was so as not to upset the British commercial interests with their country at the time, namely, er Iran.
That's illegal isn't it Our Andy? or perhaps Our Mick will be more open to comment (do they have internet cafe's in Egypt?), I've that heard Scotland will soon get an electricity grid, so I suppose anything's possible these days; innit
Was in reciept of my PE 2005 annual today, but can I hide it until Christmas though, do I have the dicipline to resist peeking? (probably not)

After just sending a bunch of ghosts and goolies packing from my front door with a flea in their ears after trying the yanky 'trick or treat' bullshit on me, or as they playfully enjoy in Liverpool (future City of Culture) 'give us money, or we'll break yer winders, and stanley knife yer cat' (all in that lovely world famous Sky News accent of course)that Our Mick so adores, I thought to myself, so that's why I met at least half a bakers dozen Arry Porters on the way home from paying my monthly bar 'BOOZE' bill. Have you tried Harry Potter cake, well it's bloody awfull actually, and dear too.
So the big question bugging me at present is do I watch Rosemary's Baby which starts soon on the gogglebox (first time), or do I go to bed early /Still got an horrendous self-inflicted BOOZE wound (and fags, God forbid) and not read or even think about reading my new Private Eye annual?
Tricky one, eh?
There are Witches: (They've even got their own magazine! )
Goodnight:
Crazy as a Milliner doesn't have that same ring to it, does it?

Why not compromise, record Rosemary, and sit up and watch Ray Winstone in Vincent ?

I always liked Kirk Douglas as Wincent actually!
and the book 'Lust for Life', too, and as a last afterthought (as many clever clogs out there are no doubt aware?) today is local boy 'Martin Luther's reformation Day, quite an important chap in the general scheme of things as it appens, innee.
I think Rosemary's scarin me, sleep with the light on tonight methinks
Goodnight again, for a final time:

Dear Fritz,
He plays the French Horn, lives in Wales and is a good egg in my book!
Anyone who is musical and kind enough to be polite gets extra marks in my book! Fred
PS: Fritz, You are excepted. I don't want you to change, and you can be as impolite as you like as it makes me smile! I think I would smile if you were rude to or about me as well, but don't try it will you!

OMG. Phritz is being invited to be rude by proxy!
Accept no substitute Fredrik! Just go straight for the (cough) throat!

I recall some 20 years back my then live-in other half ( 3 years or so)(not married) informing me that she was pregnant, which as well as being quite a surprise (as I/we'd never really discussed the subject) does spin all sorts of emotions this way and that in ones mind, dunnit? Not really knowing wether to larf or cry, after a few days she said she was too young etc, and had made a decision over her career coming first (nurse) and she wanted to get an abortion asap. Our Deano mentioned the subject jokingly which reminded me of that situation, and of us going along to the clinic one day (private) me sitting in a room with a load of other guys in a similar situation (of all ages), the girls going in, getting sorted, and the afore-mentioned blokes (me included) taking our weary women home in a taxi (many of which queued outsude), and all very clinically practical really, wunnit.
P.S. The actual decision was hers alone, and I respected it, we at no point considered, religion, morals, etc, etc, only the actual medical implications of her particular case, and what the future may hold, I don't know if women in today's Iran could be so easily accommodated though?
N.B. I wonder when Bobby Mugabe's gonna sort out the terrible shortage in 'his' Country of sanitary towels etc for his population, a rare subject, though absolutely true, and imperative, especially if you happen to be a Zimbabwian woman.
Didn't Borough do well

Still on the subject of ex Rhodesia, and now for many years Zimbabwe, it does make one wonder how the 'ego' of just one man can have so much influence 'negaitve' still, dunnit? OK, like Slobbers he's an ex National hero (and in Africa too) but people change with time, some become wiser, while others surround themselves with yes-men, and live in a fantasy world, many such 'leaders' come to mind, and they don't have to be classed as 'evil' to qualify I feel.
So when the possible bubble finally bursts on Dubya's history, and Cheyney's scullduggerry and arrogance to-boot, I can't help but wonder, why they are still there, even now?
Africa's plentiful 'Food Basket', namely Zimbabwe, is now Africa's 'Basket case', and one wonders what's logic got to do with it all, a bit like the US sending ground troops into Iraq initially I suppose, even though they were convincingly telling the world that Sadders had WMD's at the same time (Few would have had the intelligence to do that, innit), bit like supplying a country with nuclear technology I suppose, and then freaking out when they want to actually use it
Remember those amazingly efficient French made exocets that wiped out HMS Sheffield etc, it's amazing we still talk to them, innit?

I'd be surprised if one was actually forced to learn English to obtain Citizenship, though of course those with a few bob (non English speaking rich Iranians for instance) would be going through the fair and Democratic fast-track channel no doubt?
Great headlines for the old currant bun too, eh!!!
