I think it's marvellous that Our Mick and other British TV licence payers will soon be subsidising/financing a new BBC Arab TV service for the region, though at the cost of losing some 10 other long-established language services, but that's progress I suppose! and also very kind and generous of the British Public I feel; innit
P.S.Mind you! with all the foreign news and rubbish programs with no British content whatso'ever, it makes yer wonder sometimes dunnit?

Yes, it bloody well does make you wonder. The cheapest Sky deal I can get is £15. If we didn't get such a crap picture with the normal aerial I wouldn't bother with it at all. Well, apart from Takeshi's Castle that is.

I am Good Luigi, thank you! I have been looking at apple ipods recently but have a problem in that they don't do Naim olive-drag (green), and I really cannot decide which colour to get, as I think it's important for the music quality and technical performance, as with mobile telephones, maybe you have some colourful ideas for me?
Your old fruit Fritz with Happles & Horanges?

Graham.......................i still do think colour is not important.
I have a black cd player, a silver Hicap, olive amplifier, white power cables, brown speakers.
And a grey computer.
It seems that everything is ok!
Anyway the best colour is........... transparent.
In my opinion.

Very good! Though I suppose it'll have to be flatfish, as a carp would be too fat I reckon? Luigi ! What kind of shoes should I wear when listening to music in public, or doesn't it matter in a modern Europe?
Magnetic goldfish come to mind, but they could well interfere with sound quality

Good!
For a moment i made myself you was one of those downloading mp3s just to have an alibi to buy an (white?) ipod to show around.
Actually i don't feel so good and so i spend time not really listening but changing a cd every minute.

I didn't read the Iran thread but I would at one time have suggested that the best way to avoid threads being deleted is to complain* to the moderators as soon as someone gets out of line. It's what the moderators are there for, and it makes less work for them in the long run.
Unfortunately, my recent experience has made me less inclined to complain about misbehaviour in an otherwise positive thread:
A few weeks ago, in a hitherto positive thread, three forum members decided that a racist incident I suffered was a suitable source of entertainment, and one of the three made a nasty racial joke at my expense. By the time I read the joke a moderator had edited it but, inexplicably, had not deleted it. After I complained about it and the other offensive posts, I was disappointed that the whole thread was zapped, given that deleting the culprits' posts would appear to have been a simple matter.
Maybe it was just a busy day - shame though...
Now I'm not sure what to suggest...
*This only applies to adult forum members, of course: twelve year olds are allowed to apply the "schoolboy code of honour" and refuse to complain on pain of death.
Possibly because I'm supposedly not to be confused with a whingeing wimp, folk have gotten away with allsorts of liberties that wouldn't be accepted by others on here, and being the virtual entity known as Berlin Fritz, I have (unlike many others) never been pulled up for the fact, if you see what I mean John?
Are you in fact a spy for the horrendously censorial Pink Salmon Show, or are you just wanting to eternally moan about the bike incident?
P.S. What sort of bike was it? British saddle, or Continental, etc
N.B. Perhaps you should just have the one thread to play in as well Son?

I was watching a geezer scanning a slide in our local playpark earlier, I don't know what size it was though, but I was most impressed all the same, marvellous stuff

Neither do i.
My round, lunar belly doesn't much fit modern masses likes.
But a brand new ipod would surely keep me in the right side of society.
Or not.............................

Looks like Blunketts arrogance will cause his demise once again!
Should British farmers be jailed for whingeing? and Tesco's be allowed to take over all of their assets (PFI government scheme controlled naturally), so as not to cause yet more increases in Council tax across the nation!
Is Germany to blame?
Why are most hotels in London absolute well overpriced low standard shite compared to the rest of Europe?
