XPS!!

Hi all,

Just got an XPS for my CDX...Just wondering what to expect!!
Current system is: CDX/XPS 82/Hicap 180 MOdified Epos ES11/12's.

I've noticed the following improvements so far!

Better separation between instruments
Increased soundstage
Better timing..... in fact the whole PRAT thing!
Increased clarity ie detail
Improved bass definition & performance

I purchased an XPS about four weeks ago and my system is identical except that I run Ruark Equinox's instead of the Epos's.

I have experienced all the improvements that you have, except that the longer you keep using the XPS the BETTER it sounds.

You will experience a greater need to replay old favorite CD's just to hear how good the CDX/XPS is over the naked CDX.

The only reservation I have is whether the my 180 is good enough for the rest of the system and whether my bank manager will lend me enough to purchase a new NAP 300.
