Anyone else noticed? or is it just me never previously noticing that newbies stick their heads in for a while and think....Nah...load of tossers! and go away again.
Has there been a recruitment drive by Richard?
I've also noticed that the regulars are dropping off. Where has Tom been for instance?

Don't get me started on running shoes.
Before I started using Asics I was a Nike man, largely because there was bugger all else on the market in 20BC. Waffle trainers through to Pegasus. A few pairs of Adidas TRX, a couple of years of Reebok (Aztec), a disastrous flirtation with NB (9000's - the first $US100 running shoe ever made and like having a pair of breeze blocks nailed to your feet) which were left on the roof of my dad's car, never to be seen again. Went to Tiger/Asics "Gel lite trainers" which became 2010's. Since then I have (with a few stupid detours through Nikeland) had enough pairs of 2020, 2030, 2040 .. 2080 to sink a small battleship. Once in a while I get a pair of Kyanos but they always give me gyp.
Anyway, all of that and no running related injuries so far. I told you not to get me started ..

Thanks for that link, Matthew. As a relative newcomer to hi-fi fora it was illuminating (not to mention choke-on-a-biscuitting) to discover another section of 'The Stallion Saga'. Noticing that he has now been banned from the Mana forum for etiquette failure, I was wondering idly whether there is any place he hasn't been shown the red card. I wonder why he hasn't started his own forum. The AUP would make fascinating reading.
I'll bet he's a sweetie really.

For those not there at the time, this was a Forum dedicated to Stallion peopled only by contributors called Stallion with the sole subject of...Stallion (and given his evident ecstatic delight at being the centre of attention no matter what the reason, I bet he had some explaining to do to his wife about those unpleasant stains in his underwear).

Tony now runs Pink Fish and is sort of semi-banned from here in ways that are not exactly clear.
Marco is rumoured to be banned but apparently he has said he isn't and has just chosen to abscent himself over a difference of opinion about the new Naim amplifers.
Vuk is so banned its not even funny.
Mick Parry's Solomon like judgement was rewarded when he was appointed Lord Parry of The Forum a short time later.

People tend to get banned for being deliberately offensive to other members.
Anyone who does that (with the possible exception of retaliation in kind) deserves to be banned.
Fritz does not fall into this category.
