Mo' Blues

hi pop pickers (yeah, I'm that old)
I'm listening to one of my favourite recordings at this very moment, it's called: "Blues is my wailin' wall" by Mighty Mo Rodgers.
It's hard to categorize this disc, it's less blues than soul or R'n'B. It passes into that kind of memphis stax/atlantic sound. It also reminds me of american troubadour singers, such as Guy Clark or Steve Earle, but it's not in the least country, more african/american troubadour. Some great songs, a lot of swing in that memphis stax kind of way and some pretty good blowin' too.
