The 1973 'Buckingham Nicks' Al***

Posted by: J.N. on 21 January 2008

Being a Fleetwood Mac fan, I've always kinda hankered after this album to hear that embryonic Buckingham/Nicks pre-FM sound.

Lindsey Buckingham was clearly a clever bugger even back then, and it's proving to be a bit of a grower since I recently got my hands on a vinyl copy - it's never been officially released on CD.

Get a load of that cheesy 1970s cover pic!

That lovely old orangey/red Polydor label on the record has a certain something too.

Any other devotees?

John.

I've got the original release. Had it for about 25 years too.

Probably worth a few bob now :-)

Great version of Frozen Love. Lindsey Buckingham pretty much was Fleetwood mac in that incarnation IMHO

Lindsey was and still is the Man... Seen him a few months ago in concert. Great performance.

£10 if it is in mint (unplayed condition) according to Record Collector price guide or £7.50 if it has been played a few times with no noticeable markings.

Hmm. I sold mine for £3. But I know where the new owner lives, or at least works - Naim!! Must be worth a free hiline.
