Dear Friends,
I notice that looking at the weather, the season is definately changing - from grey, cold, wet, and miserable to grey, mild, wet, and rather lovely especially now the clocks have altered.
Brilliant. I am throwing off the winter blues!
Alll the best from Fredrik

Fredrik,
Good for you, what a positive outlook.
Had an excellent long lunch with friends and family today at our house, lovely rib of beef and all the trimmings. Feeling pretty chipper myself, despite losing at Charlton today.
BTW you started one hell of a thread on "Biblical Swine", I've only digested up to page 3 so far. Need time to read and absorb the rest, but the boys keep churning it out faster than I can read it.
Seasonal Effective Disorder (SAD) is a very interesting area. There are lots of web sites out there that cover it, but we should all be feeling slightly happier now the clocks have changed.
Regards
Nic

Fredrick,
The clocks may have changed but the weather's still crap, it p----d down all day on site today.
We've had so much rain in the last 3 weeks that I,m absoloutely amazed that "Water Restrictions" have already been imposed in the South East.
Justyn.

The problem with the UK is that we are a small island with no large mountain ranges, a mild climate and high population density. As such we cannot store water for long periods and therefore rely on frequent rainfall.
Meanwhile on the continent heavy winter snowfalls in the mountains provide enough water for the summer even if it doesn'rt rain for weeks on end.

The weather has been really pleasant down here today. I am hoping for some sun at Easter so that we can bring the beach hut (on Hayling Island) out of hibernation.

Steve,
The main problem is that we don't transfer water when we've got it, we have it by the bucket load in Wales but very litle of it gets piped to other parts of the country.
Can Naim update their clock please?.
