Surely that's just a picture of Mana's "ready for dispatch" warehouse? With stacking capabilities like that, who needs expensive robot stock pickers and shelving.

And even the duck statues are made from ferrous metal...

Bet he doesn't have a dust allergy! (Although, he might well develop one..)

Who the hell would plonk down that load of old iron in their house........its beyond belief.

The sights you see on the internet.

Yours in amazement

... is that I assume this picture was taken at eye level? In which case where's the stepladder for popping CD's into the drawer? And do you get one of those Regency houses with really high ceilings free with your 100th level?

Can someone describe this please? It won't download on my PC. Perhaps it's trying to tell me something.Bri

Brian: It's just an odd photo of some Mana kit with some iron Flamingoes sitting in front.

The speaker looks like an old Spendor on Phase 9 and next to it is a 5 tier rack on stage 15 or so.

Very industrial looking. The flash from the camera shows all the extra dust you typically get from having Mana.

Its a Isobarik, and I suspect that the system is either TF's or an earlier version of JW's (who now uses ATCs).

Tony.

PS They are weird ducks not flamingoes, ask Joe Petrik, he understands such things.

Thats disgusting. Mana owners always harp on about how the mana effect is cheaper than buyng black stereo boxes, well how much did that load of bent metal and 80s style smoked glass cost. Utter crap, you can be serious about music and have a seblence of a living space together.

Sorry if I hit a mana nerve their, mabye I should have put the obligatory IMHO.

IMHO that mana stuff looks disgusting. There you go.

OK?

Just seen yours Mr Vuk, have to say that looks fine, but there again it don't look anything like the other picture, which is IMHO bloody horrid and would never be placed in my humble abode. I have a picture, IMHO it looks nicer than the first photo, of course now you won't think so, therefore its a little pointless posting it hum?

Please remember IMHO was regarding the looks and not the sound, I have not heard the magic, but there again I will struggle on without the magic if I have to have my house looking like a scrap merchants as in the first picture, not your picture though IMHO of course.

Vuk

Get real old boy.

That pic was plain bloody awful and you know it.

Please be honest, would you have that monstosity in your house.

To compare that heap of angle iron to say a Fraim is like comparing Nora Batty to Marilyn Monroe.

Even the Tate Modern would draw the line on exhibiting that lot.

You cannot argue on this one my friend, so know when your beat and give up.

Regards

Mick

Both garyi and Duncan make a valid point here. I don't care how tall you are, Phase 14 sticks your electronics so far in the air that you end up with two big problems. First of all, you need the remote to make any volume or source changes. But even more disturbing is the fact that you need to grab the stepladder from the garage whenever you upgrade the amp, preamp or power supply (source first you know). Imagine making one slight mistake and watching that tower of iron and glass tumble down in a big crash smile

Come now Mick, you know 'double V' is too stubborn to admit defeat. Don't you the remember the days when he thought Mana was crap? It was nice to hear that you purchased a 52 so soon after you got the CDSII. Now sit back and enjoy, but do let us know when you get the Fraim eh wink
