Connecting up a Yamaha DSP-E800 Processor

Howdi folks...I haven't been around in ages as I have been jobless and therefore had no money to spend 
I am however back, and due to an expanding DVD collection, I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy an E800 and matching centre/surround speakers....
However, I am now a little stuck. I obviously need to connect the E800 to my Nait 3R, now I was under the impression that I should use the AUX input of the Nait, connected to the MAIN OUT of the Yamaha. However, am I right in thinking that the AUX input on the Nait is actually the
two phone sockets?? If so, the Chord DIN -> Phono lead is not needed....anyone confirm/deny this for me??? Or at least tell me where on earth I am going wrong...
