trade- in for the n-Vi

Is it worth to trade-in my 112x/150x/CD5x/FC2 for the n-Vi ?

In a word no you would be better swapping your CD5X for a DVD5 and then the preamp for a AV2 and then add the 3 channel amp great sounding system. great with movies and music.
However you must ask yourself what important to you music or movies. My understanding of the Nvi is as an odd on to your system.

Robbert,
I would suggest this is a question only you can answer. Get a demo and decide whether the sound quality is worse/better than your setup, and if worse whether you can live with it.
I know one of my local dealers is very impressed with the n-Vi, both for sound quality and flexibility.
Why not see if you can borrow one and try it iteratively in place of your various seperates.
Like the DVD5 it has a s/pdif, so you could always try it with an external DAC.
AND....then do an extensive write up, I'm sure you'd have a lot of interested readers!
