Awkward speakers and Naim amps

Is it true that Naim amps don't like difficult speakers too much? I have got some old AR LST speakers but am reticent to hook them to the 110 as the LST's have a reputation for dipping to 2 Ohms and needing several hundred watts of US muscle amps. Your views appreciated.

On the contrary. Naim amps love difficult loads. It was one of their great selling points. They revel driving Linn Saras and Isobariks. I would give it a go.

The high end olive models (250, 135) can drive loads down to 4 ohm at reasonable volume (not loud) for extended time. However, they ARE NOT designed for 2 -3 ohm speakers. The new design (we call them black case models) are designe to drive speakers down to around 2 ohm but not for a lond period of time (at reasonable volume). If you have 2 ohm speaker and want to listen loud go for mark levinson or Krell models.
