Rack spacing?

Posted by: Mekon on 04 July 2003

I currently have a 4-tier rack, which is soon to have a flatcap placed on it. Am I right in guessing that the transformer is on the right of the box in a FC1, and that consequently, the NAC72 should be placed on the left of it's shelf?

My LP12 is on it's own wallshelf, which has a lower unspiked shelf that I am loathe to use.

See below for expected layout:

___[----CD3.5-----]___
______________________

___[NAC72] [Rega-E]___
______________________

___[----Flatcap---]___
______________________

___[---NAP180-----]___

Yes. You might also try centering everything and see if that's better.

Expected layout looks fine.
There may be advantages to switching the placement of 72 and 3.5

If you're really hopeless, try reversing the whole thing ie. 180 on top, CD3.5 on bottom.

Since we are on racks will someone be kind enough to measure and let me know the vertical spacing of shelves on a Fraim?
