I discovered this lady at the Trowbridge Village Pump festival in the summer (also host to Suzanne Vega and the Waterboys among others); she did a great performance on the Saturday and led a guitar players forum on the Sunday morning (perfect Sunday morning music). She plays Piedmont blues, the ornate finger-picking style, and has a great mellow voice (can white girls sing the blues - sure!).
I've played this to several folks from diverse taste backgrounds and they all love it, including one guy who came over just to hear my system. The CD 'Bywater Dance' was recorded in New Orleans just before Katrina with local musicians and sounds great!
