Display on the DVD5

Hi all, i wondered if anyone can tell me what it means when you get 'W-OG' on the display on the DVD5 ? I noticed it on the display tonight, it was dimmly lit and when i tried to use the remote to get rid of it nothing happened. I isolated it from the mains and swithed it back on and everything seems fine now, but i just wondered what it means.

Think of it as being like a "blue screen of death" in Windows. Just power off for a few seconds, then switch on again.

W-DOG is a signal that there's been an issue and the system has locked-up. It's rare in the field, but happens sometimes. Just re-boot and all should be fine.

Thanks for that Richard and Dungassin, everything is fine now. I was just curious that's all. By the way Dungassin, i used to get the 'blue screen of death' quite a bit on vista, a lot better now with windows 7
