New 5i series

Although the new series is less expensive are they designed to sound superior to the main 5 series, ie would the CD5i/NAIT5i sound better than CD5/NAIT5 or CD5/FC2/NAIT5.
Just wondering, what were peoples impressions when heard at recent shows.

I recently heard the CD5i and Nait5i at the Scottish Hi fi Show and for the money they sounded excellent.

I have not heard a CD5 or Nait5 so I am unable to offer an opinion on comparing them with the 'i' series.

Believe the NAIT5i will be £699 and CD5i will be £825 according to the info in Hi Fi World mag

Yea I think that does include vat.
