So,is it essential to buy this album or there are better artists out there in this kind of music-I think is country, isn´t it?I´ve got a few albuns of Bil Frisell, wich plays on his album!

He co wrote the album Strange Weirdos with Loudon Wainwright III, the soundtrack to 'Knocked Up'.
Some cracking songs on there, indeed the song 'You Can't Fail Me Now ' is on both albums.

I love Joe Henry. He's quite unique in so many ways. I fell in love with Guilty By Association on the Sweet Relief album and went out to get Trampoline and here we are now. Here's another one. Very much mood music but the sort that changes your mood in a good way.

Nuno, the Joe Henry man on the forum would be Jeff Anderson. He is a really good fan of Joe's. You will find him usually in the Music Forum.

For me I prefer his earlier period of work. He hasn't done a country album since the early '90's.

Nuno he made 2 albums with the Jayhawks called Kindeness of the World and Short Man's Room. I also loved his first which was produced by T. Bone Burnett didn't like his second. The first album is not really country. The second moves towards it a little.

By the way the 2 Jayhawk albums are not that easy to get anymore I think.
