I have exactly that in my study. Sources are a Creek CD60 and, soon, a Rega P3/Elys combo. The combination works very well--it is set up in a small room (9'x11' or so). Heard in isolation you could well wonder if anything is missing--it is dynamic, tuneful, lively, and highly informative.
Three limitations: One, it won't play very loud--loud enough for me in a study, but perhaps not otherwise. Second, the IBLs do not go extremely low in the bass--the bass they have is extremely tuneful, tight and informative, but is obviously not the last word in weight, grip, or extension. Third, I don't think IBLs are suited to a large room. I tried them in my upstairs system, which is in a 20'x14' living room, which is open to the rest of the house. The IBLs just didn't load the room as well as they do in the smaller basement room.
I have also tried my LP12 and CDX/XPS into the Nait/IBL system; the better sources make a large difference--to the point that the Nait/IBL system is better than the 72/Hicap/250/SBL system upstairs with the Creek and Rega as sources. Source first and all that.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Bob
Is the creek CD well fit with Naim?
But is it OK to watch movies with IBL? Ever heard Index2 speakers? Is the bass better on the IBLs? Like depper and so on?
Well I dont have that large room. I think it's about (6m x 4m).

Hmm, is it the Sensitivity that causes the cliping with the nait+IBL ? because my Index2 is 86dB/W. So the nait runs them. Then it would run IBLs better, or?

I owned a Nait 1/Index 2 combo years ago. It worked very well with an LP12/Ittok/K9 as source.
Although it has been a long time since I've heard the Index 2, I have no hesitation in saying the IBL is significantly better in terms of tune, dynamics, clarity, smoothness, and so on. The Index 2 had more bass weight and extension, but it was not nearly as clear and controlled as the IBL.
Just for grins I listened to the Index 2 at my dealers (when I bought them) with a big Naim system driving them (52/52PS/250 I think) and the Index 2's sounded, as you might expect, far better than with the Nait 1 or the Linn LK1/LK280 combo.
In a big room I could see the Index 2 "loading" the room better than the IBL, although in quality terms I think the IBL quite a significant step forward.
And yes, the Creek CD player works very well with the Nait. It is hardly the last word in quality, but in character terms it is a good match. I expect the Rega P3 to do even better.

Bob

My neighbor has SBLs. I like them, but they are 2 expensive.
I miss much bass with my index =(. The index is good playing vinyl with but not CD. When you play cd then you can feel that the real dynamic bass is missing. Maby is could be the CD. Hmm, if I could get a Naim CD and test.
