Free Cash for US Residents

If you live in the US and purchased at least one CD, LP or cassette in a music store between 1995 and 2000 you can sign up for your share of a $143m class action lawsuit against the major record companies by going to http://www.musiccdsettlement.com/english/default.htm
Maximum payout is $20 per plaintiff but if the total plaintiffs exceed 8.8 million people the money instead goes to "not-for-profit corporations and/or charitable organizations and/or governmental or public entities within your state, to be used for music-related purposes or programs."
All you have to do is to live in the US and be able to answer yes to the following questions:
1. Did you purchase a Music Product (defined as a prerecorded compact disc, a cassette or a vinyl album)?
2. Was your purchase from a retailer? (A retailer is an entity that engages in the sale at retail price of Music Products.)
3. Was your purchase made between January 1, 1995 and December 22, 2000?
