RIP Grant McLennan

One of the all time great singer songwriters. Died March 6 in his sleep in his home town of Brisbane. Will always remember fondly his live shows and his recordings will never be far away from my cd player and my memory. Gone too soon. Shaun

Very sad, just read the obituary today in Guardian. I have only very recently discovered the Go Betweens, their last album was probably the best release of 2005.

Bum.......... that's gone totally past my radar. I loved the Go betweens in the 80's, though heard good reviews of later stuff never again dipped my feet in the water.

This was always my favourite.

This might kick me into trying 'Oceans apart'. Sad loss.
