Just seen a product called Zerostat 3 on the web which is used to eliminate static from LPs.
Anyone know of it or if it works?

I bought one of the originals in 1976. Was not impressed then.

but you have to follow a fairly complicated "pattern" to de-staticize your records that for most is a bit of a bother.
The inconvenience coupled with the ambiguous results seems to have been the death of this product. YMMV

I got mine in the "seventies" as well....and still have it, but don't use it. It's white and I think I paid 5 pounds or so in the UK. I thought it was pretty good at the time. It definitely reduces static, but to the point earlier, a good anti static sleeve eliminates the need for this product.
