Outstanding Live Al***s

Having just slipped this on the turntable,
,IMHO one of the best live albums of all time, I set to thinking of others in that class. I guess I mean live albums which are so good you should buy them even if you have all the studio albums already. Live albums which bring something fresh and new to the music.
From my own shelves the following came to mind,
Made in Japan by Deep Purple,
Live & Dangerous by Thin Lizzy,
Working without a safety net by Janis Ian,
Live at Massey Hall by Neil Young,
Acoustic Live by Nils Lofgren,
The Koln Concert by Keith Jarrett.
What other albums deserve to join this rarefied company in your opinion.
Ian

Here's one of the greatest albums of any kind of music of all time, live or studio. The fact that it is a live performance makes it all the more wonderful:
Keith Jarrett - Personal Mountains

All best,
Fred

Hi Giles
Some interesting choices, but my favourite live album of all has to be

Bobby's Dazzlers by Alan Parry and Peter Jones - I'm on it doing backing vocals from behind the goal.
ATB Rotf
Strangely, I've yet to see a re-mastered version of this classic.

Hi ROTF,
I assume you were doing another rendition of "C'mon you Blues" on Saturday as we smashed Bristol City! Alas that that vocal performance won't be recorded for posterity!
regards,
Giles

What a bunch of great titles listed so far. I second Humble Pie, Little Feet, The Who, and Ya Ya's (which changed my life) and several others. The only one I might have a question about is LZ :How the West Was Won. When I first heard it, it was a revelation. I was floored by the raw energy. Then I heard a rumor that it was quite "enhanced" by Mr. Page in the studio. If true it deserves and asterisk next to the "live" connotation!
My additions
Live Dead - Grateful Dead
Santana - Lotus
Cannonball Adderley - Black Messiah
Cannonball Adderley - Live in San Francisco
Tim Hardin 3
Van Morrison - Its Too Late to Stop Now
Weather Report - 8:30
Bob Dylan Rolling Thunder Box
Mingus at Monterey
Mott the Hoople Live (just for the speaker cabinet rattling dramatics alone)
