DVD5- does it make sense

I know the issue has been raised before but I wonder if anyone has new thoughts. I'm seriously contemplating to purchase a DVD5 come bonus time to replace my 2 year old Arcam DV78. I love my Arcam unit. For its price you get pretty good CD playback and very good picture. Does it make sense to even think about the DVD5 or should I stick with my Arcam? I am listening 95% of the time to Vinyl but watch about 3-4 movies/week.

I moved from a DV79 to a DVD5 and it was worth every penny to me. I bought it second hand so that made it a little less painful financially. But if you can afford it, I'd highly recommend it.
There was not a massive difference in the picture quality but the difference in sound quality was immense. It's a wonderful DVD player!

It can be multiregion if you use a hack that I don't think is allowed to be put up on the forum. It is easily found though.
