Global Naim...

Posted by: ken c on 26 October 2008

i am curious to know in which countries naim users are - nothing scientific, just for fun. of course we know already there are many naim users in uk and us -- but would be interested to know about other countries that make up this happy family... Smile

please post where u are, and if you like -- what system you have.

very "informed" of you peter!! actually vienna sounds like a good choice - after all thats where mozart spent a large proportion of his life...

i was joking initially when i mentioned this - but who knows, this could take off. nothing but an active dbl system will do, of course Big Grin

Hi Christian,
You may not have so many beers in Norway, but you have a stunningly beautiful country which is enough to intoxicate anyone. I have very pleasant memories of sailing northwards on the Hurtigruten route a couple of years back - troll fiord etc.

Maurice,
Spectacular view, every summer over the last 5 to 6 years I have spent a week or two in the swiss alps to climb some mountains, love your country. Can one see Mt Blanc from where you are?
Cheers,

Franz

Hello Franz,
From my place no, but it's easy to spot if you drive a few kilometers to the west direction Geneva, if the weather is good. And if you drive a bit up the low mountains (the Jura) you see on the second picture, the view to the Mt. Blanc can be quite stunning!

Maurice

PS: Loved the story and pictures of the check up of your great system by Dr. P. Glad it sounds good too!

Maurice,
Must be wonderful. You sure have chosen a wonderful place to live. If you like being in the mountains, all the tall and famous ones are within an hour or two from your place. It takes me a whole day driving to get to the Rhone valley Frown .

Cheers

I know, and Salisbury would be an obvious place too. But, I just thought what if? That's what I came up with. There's so much to see, hear and do! Smile

I could probably give you another half a dozen reasons why Vienna would work too!

Cheers from another Canadian. This time from the opposite end of the country. I live in St-Basile-Le-Grand which is on the south shore of Montreal in the province of Québec (évidemment!). For those who don't know this is the french speaking part of the country where we have the best of both worlds!

My system (which is only 1 yr old!): Supernait/CD5X with Hi-Line/Spendor S8e speakers/NACA-5 cables

À bientôt!
