Can an (Olive) XPS work well with a CDX2?

Greetings,

My current kit: CDX2/282/HiCap2/250 driving Dynaudio Special 25s.

What will the impact be of an XPS or XPS2? Can the Olive XPS work well with my (new) CDX2?

I'd really like to get an XPS2 but funds may only allow for an XPS.

Should be much better than a bare CDX2
