A game of Mornington Crescent anyone?

We had a great game quite a while ago shortly after the death of the late and great Humph.

(MCC statistics from 2002 Stovolds Almanac: Humphrey 'Humph' Lyttleton, playing career 1893-, Games Played 68,934, Won 68,933, Lost 1, Avg.0.99999. Comments: Trumpet player for Radiohead).

Well it has been a couple of years, and since the last game here was such a success I thought it might be time for a rematch.

'Mortimer's Standard' might be a good version to play, easy for beginners, but just to give it a little spice the 'Fragonard Variation' could be implemented, passing on opposites is banned, reverse loops are in nip, and southbound returns must be followed by a straight action. Extra points may also be scored for square moves.

Please feel free to offer other options on the best variation to play, and of course if there are any new rules introduced since my 2002 Almanac (I really must get a more up to date copy of Stovold), please make any players aware of them.

If others feel that is a good game to play then I might suggest this as a start.

Sloane Square.

Well, I'm not going to state the obvious that could have been declared 2 pages ago...so anyway it was closed due to industrial action.
