72 Boards

I've just been rumaging round in my 72 and noticed that there are 2 slots without any boards in place. Is this normal? All inputs including phono appear to be working OK.

Hakan - all of the inputs function correctly so I guess it can't be any sort of input buffer boards that are missing.

Does anybody have some pictures of the insides of their 72 they could post.

It's the inside of my NAC72.
You should check the inside of your 72 with mine.

Thanks for that. You too seem to have some empty slots next to your phono boards. So either we've both got something missing or there's nothing to worry about.

Assuming that there is nothing to worry about then what are these slots for I wonder?

Please look at the next photo.
There are line(AUX/CD) and phono boards for NAC72.

Should the boards be a tight fit? Or is it reasonable to expect a bit of side-to-side "play"?

It's quite sad I can get hung up about such things.

The boards are supposed to have play in them.
