If you like Can Ox, you'll probably like most of the stuff put out on the Definitive Jux label. Try their samplers, El-p's new album, or anything by Aesop Rock.
I would also recommend Sonic Sum, Mike Ladd (plus the Infesticons album), and all the Antipop Consortium albums (plus the Isolationist album with DJ Vadim).

Thanks. Since I posted that I've found quite a few of the things you mention. The new El-Producto is, I think, especially good -- my best find this year.
I'll check out Sonic Sum.
