Fila Brazillia: everything on vinyl now
Posted by: Andrew Randle on 25 May 2002
Just a note to all Fila fans. Last weekend I managed to track down a vinyl copy of A Touch of Cloth. There's a flyer in there stating that all FB albums will now be out on vinyl on their 23online label, except for Brazillification (which I assume Pork Recordings still hold).

Don't tempt me Randle, I can't afford it.
I saw Jump Leads in London the other week, just couldn't justify the outlay what with the CD sat at home, damn Cds, damn them to hell.

I've got 'A touch of cloth'. I don't get it. IMO it takes way to long for not very much to happen at all.

Um.
I rather believe perhaps Nick may feel the same way, one for the library.
I love all of them and play them often.

For me it is their best album. There's more than an element of cheekiness to the sound that is typical Fila.
Some of the tracks required a couple of listens in order "to get". Others are easy. Favourite tracks are Trivia, Slow Light, Pigsblood and Chalk, and Leonids.

OK, it's got some good bassy bits! The kind of stuff that surely must be rolled off somewhat for a vinyl cut?

New codes on vinyl sounds fine to my ears, but I don't have the CD for comparision
