Marc:
I've bought most of my kit used over the years. Mostly I have purchased via Audiogon, AudioWeb, AudioReview or Audioshopper. While I have made several attempts at buying stuff on Ebay the prices usually end up being too high.
Audiogon is by far the best place to buy used kit.
For selling though, Ebay seems to get the highest prices. In order to get the best price you will need to have a decent amount of positive feedback. You will also need several photos of the unit and you should provide the ser#. Taking payment by Paypal also helps a lot.
If you don't have any feedback on Ebay, just start buying used CD's there. After a couple of weeks you should have enough positive feedback.

anywho, it seems as though E-Bay is the place to start. Yes, it is true I am selling some of my unused Naim and other stuff but, I expect this to hopefully be an easy task. I have not sold anything in a very long time.
Sorry,Rico. Its going also. With the 555 up an coming, I can not see myself using the Linn really all that much. Without sounding to weird, I think in the future I will get another.(if the need is there.) My discs are not going anywhere..

But not using the Linn? Do you have a pre-production version of the CDSIII you're listening to, or something?

Rico,
I have a storage space that is 200 a month.I think its nuts to pay for that. I am trying to get some of the stuff out to get a smaller space.
Now you know.
As a matter of fact, I use an Outback for my business. I beat the thing and it keeps on going.
could not see hauling the stuff I need in a CLK 430.
I am selling the 250,the Linn and all its stuff,Quad 63s, and yes, the 52 must go. The 552 is a must.
The new CDS (I think) is going to be called the 555.
That is what I was getting at.
I was looking at E-Bay. What a mess of screens to fill out. Those fees. HUH??
I might post the Quads on E-Bay tonight.See how it goes.
Best Regards,
Marc Newman

Does e-bay extend to the UK?

Ah ha! So you are pre-production testing then!
Nah, just kidding around. Hope you get fair prices for it all. That storage does get expensive.
