Posted by: Steve Toy on 14 January 2003
Here are a few crappy pics. I've got some of Stallion's rig too, but I await his permission to post them.
I need to get the file size down. I see that we now get 50k
Regards,
Steve.

I see you modelled your place on the Playboy Mansion, and I bet with equal (if not better) success.

Oz - great pictures! When are you publishing plans for your 1000 CD self-build rack?
Tom - those active SBL's are outstanding. Amazing how activation brings the rythmn and bounce to the fore, no?

Rico !
Thanks, but unfortunately I don't have a technical drawings of rack, because I don't needed. The thing is so simple and instead of metal sides you can use wood panels and then you don't need L like metal pieces to sit horizontal panels on it. Fixating horizontal panles is even simplier that way, I mean, you can screw through side panels and after that put a plastic caps on screws and voila, all looks like it's made from one piece.
Everybody satisfied, he and she
Cheers,
Ozren

Alex !
Thank you.
Well, it's hard to say because he was to young to understand that, but there is no doubt that he likes my cds because of many colors on them.
p.s. How's your 52 today ?
Hope that you are succesfully sold your 42.5.
But Alex, I was believed that you are going to buy CDS before 52, but you are not. Why did you not ?
Regards,
Ozren

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get your CD rack? It looks ideal for me, capacity-wise.

Never take Sweets from strangers - Their wallet and watch will do just fine
Its the 'billy' range of stuff from Ikea, it was only 30 odd quid.
However the bigger one I had me records in fell to bits so I have had to get something more substantial!

Well, ...finally got my new Quadraspire light-oak Q4 support delivered this morning
So, time for some updated system piccies.
Sorry about the poor quality, it's the best I could get with my el Cheapo Trust digicam.
...and yes, I also still have the Nait-2.
I must ad that I couldn't actually notice any sonic improvement over the old SO2 table. But then again, that wasn't my goal either. I only bought this rack for the looks.
One thing I did notice is that it's a bit more wobbly than I thought.
(could also be due to my floating laminate floor
)
Well, that's all for now y'all,
Greetings,
Alco

Oh great idea, a trolley for mobile sound. You can take it outside with you and garden or work in the garage. Instead of blissfully floating in the pool, a la the graduate, you could lay down on the chaise and have speakers 6" from each ear and tume the world out.

Keeping marital harmony.
Jeez all those fraims....
I have a 'traditional' minded wife (bless bless 'er ) who will not tolerate cables nor racks, a dedicated listening room is impossible, my powers of persuasion and begging are nill, hence my 'rule breaking'system placement.
Gives me hours of pleasure though....
Any ideas on converting her would be welcome.
