Sistem pics 2003

Here are a few crappy pics. I've got some of Stallion's rig too, but I await his permission to post them.
I need to get the file size down. I see that we now get 50k
Regards,
Steve.

And Again!!

Success!
Nice looking system!
Carpet could be jazzier, though...
Proof that Naim speakers are bought by non-total-Naim users.
What are all the bits?

R.

er, does 'jazzier' mean the same to our American cousins as it does to us Brits?
Anyone, anyone?

It's never been a problem really. Unless the cabinets, speakers or tv, are touching the radiator then there isn't really enough heat to cause damage.
I've recently moved the Briks out a bit from the back wall as they were touching the radiator and the radiator was ringing along. This meant moving them closer to the corners, width of room 11 feet. Ive tried pulling them out a few inches before but found that the lower mid became recessed. Surprisingly this time the bass and midrange performance and PRaT hasn't suffered at all and I'm getting a better soundstage. Not holographic but that's not a Brik thing anyway. Have any other Brik owners tried this?
I'll also be putting pennies under the Spikes on the Brik stands as the spikes are boring into the concrete on the slabs. I presume that a one pence piece should be hard enough, anybody know? Mind you it will only cost eight pence to find out. Only got six pennies at the moment so will have to drag myself down to the pub for change. It's a hard life really

Nope - but I *do* spot the Evanescence (sp?) CD and an electronic R2D2 - looks like my housemate's been round your gaff!
Isn't the CDX2 compromised heinously by being stuck next to the haunted goldfish bowl???

The carpet is evil - it must be stopped.
Viewed at right angles from the other picture.
I'd like to point out that The Matrix Reloaded was just on loan, and not mine...
dom - TV and CDP never on at the same time, dunno about passive effects tho'. R2 is fun at parties, and interestingly whenever I switch him on he makes a bee-line for the hi-fi and starts talking to it!! (yes, really). Does your housemate never do any dusting or washing up? In that case I think I've had a *load* of visits...
Cheers!

Well, he DOES - he just takes his time getting round to it...

Here is the latest upgrade to my bedroom system.
My only niggle- FM reception is extremely sensitive to other items sharing the same outlet (in my case anyway). I could switch between overlapping stations merely by plugging and unplugging a reading lamp from the wall. Problem solved: I ran the Tivoli's cord to another, empty outlet.
First radio show later today: Broken Social Scene, live on KEXP (also online @ 3:00 PM PST/ 11:00 PM GMT).
PS- If anyone can tell me how to adjust white balance in Paint Shop Pro, I would be grateful.

To answer your question- I've used the supplied external antenna exclusively, and the box switched to "external antenna". I might fiddle with some nuts and balls in the future, just not now.
I love this radio. It sounds wonderful. It receives my favorite stations. I'm impressed. Everyone needs at least one.

Well that's odd. I can't think why it should matter.
Everyone needs at least one
Absolutely.
cheers,
Dan

If I used a lower res. would it appear larger on screen? I saved it onto my PC as 30k which appeared to Infopop as 50k.Any ideas? I've done endless searches on 'how to'on this forum, and am a little confused.
Regards,
Yikes!
Avoid higher resolution pix on line.
