Sistem pics 2003
Posted by: Steve Toy on 14 January 2003
Here are a few crappy pics. I've got some of Stallion's rig too, but I await his permission to post them.
I need to get the file size down. I see that we now get 50k
Regards,
Steve.

As for Tom-- wellll... there goes the system's imaging then, doesn't it?
And why is Vuk banned from this forum?? Is this the reason for his fame/ignominy?
I mean the guy's name MUST appear in like 61.7% of all forum posts on ANY subject. And that's a crude round-off. What gives?

First I read 'lovely active cat' - we need a picture of the pet, too, Tom!
Gary, that is one lovely picture. You absolutely earned your ticket out. As of now, you're unchained.

My, oh my! I take some time-off and this is what happens!
Come on guys! This was turning into a really good topic thread until the sniping and speculating started to de-rail it.
So, for those of you who have e-mailed us and are still speculating as to the identity of "FLJ", we are making some enquiries and would ask that members leave it at that - please!
As for the future of this thread... Any objections to some judicious editing so the good bits are left intact and the boring bits are, well... binned?
Keep those pictures coming.

Not at all, Tom. you owe us some pictures yet, among which one of smart cookie pet (getting a bite at one place, going for snuggles & music at the other place).
Richard, sorry for asking but wouldn't it be handier timewise to have a word with Mr Mayhem from Wrexham, who in every single case is at the centre of these brawls?

Very smart, Tom. Get the word pussy on the web and you will attract millions of views from all over the place looking for some action. Folks will be so disappointed.

Here Goes...
Before anyone has kittens, SNAPS and NAXO are not on. Systetm is running as 32.5/HiCAP/125s. Will get stands sorted out after 250s have been serviced.
Cheers,
Tim

Tim, that's a very interesting system you have there.
Firstly there are two NAC32.5 pre-amps. Are you going dual mono by any chance?
Secondly I can't quite make out if you are using a CDX2/XPS2 or a CD5/Flatcap2. I assume that it is the former not the latter. If so then how does it compare with the CDS/CDPS in your profile?

There's no harm in having two art galeries, but the other one is no longer infested. Mr Dane has kindly sent in Rentokil

Steve.

On second look, it seems like a CD5/Flatcap2. Still a blindingly good player.

There. Now that looks much better...
Get posting with sistem pics!
Oh, and any more hypothesising on Vuks "Trolling" activities will, needless to say, be deleted by the moderators. Apologies to anybody who had a reply deleted with anything useful to say in it - I've tried to avoid mucking the thread up too much but errors can happen.

My wife thinks I'm very sad (ergo you all are too) for taking photos of my hifi!
However (if I can download from my camera to my pc) I'll post my LP12/252/300 B&W mana laden monstrosity tonight!

Before you move anything...
The FC2 and CD5 should be kept as far apart as possible.
Regards,
Steve.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to keep this thread intact, as the picture thread for members with some degree of mental sanity?
There is of course no way of telling how long Stally / Steven can keep up the pretense - so I say better hold on to this thread.
Herman

Hi, Andrew, do you mean 'interesting' in the Chinese sense?....
Anyway, the other 32.5 is a spare (I managed to pick up the 32.5/HiCAP/250 that was going for £750 in Hi-Fi World before Christmas). It sounds significantly better than my previous 32.5...I'm going to have a look inside it...
Actually, it is a CD 5 / FC2...and it's not too shabby compared to the CDS/CDPS. CDS has better bass, drive and detail, but CD5 paints a more 'colourful' (not 'coloured') picture. Very pleasant, indeed. Unfortunately, Herman the German found out how much the CDS cost, and she's been giving me disapproving glances ever since, so it has to go...
So ist das Leben...
Cheers,
Tim

I'll be deleting the other thread. Keeps everything tidy and in one place. Now where did I put that duster....?
