Sistem pics 2003

Posted by: Steve Toy on 14 January 2003

Here are a few crappy pics. I've got some of Stallion's rig too, but I await his permission to post them.

I need to get the file size down. I see that we now get 50k Smile

Regards,

Steve.

Hi guys,

Well, here are my latest sistem pics, including my new Diapason Micra-III on Target HR60 stands (which I bought s/h today from forum member Bas Smile )

I'm sorry for the terrible picture quality. Not enough light (which makes the walls turn into orange Eek Roll Eyes ) and because of my El cheapo digi-cam.
I'll try to make some better pics within a few days.

(I can't make a better close-up version, without the pic getting blurry)

That's all for now folks, show's over... Razz Big Grin

Alco

Hi Gary,
Yes, compared to the Diapason's, my Kan's look like some give-away 80's midi-system speaker Big Grin and the sonic improvement is about just as big as the difference in looks/finish.
(mind: in MY system and in MY room)

You're right, these Diapasons are made out of solid walnut. (although their colour looks more like light-cherry/oak)

Way to go Rico. Nice detail shots and then the overall perspective of the setup. Neat and clean I don't know how you kept the rats nest of cables at bay. I have a coffee table hiding all of mine.

Rico,
What's that long white adapter on your wall plug, looks like everything is connected through each other to the mains?

I was about to say that your mains block looks well dodgy.

Sleep well tonight. Smile

Dave

Those are called tap-ons.

Each plug fits into each other as you can see. Only prob is if you have a few pieces to plug in the vertical tower can kinda bend! Doesn't effect the sound though Big Grin

Jay

PS Rico - is that the NAPSC plugged into the socket by itself and....didn't you sell those speakers!

Why did you get the Planet in silver? They do them in black as well. Just curious.

Ex dem, 1 month old, only been played for about twenty minutes /....... 20% discount

I think it doesnt look that bad, but the discount is what did it.

Fair enough, I'd do the same, after all, its what it sounds like that's important.

Hi guys,

I've just made some new pics of my Diapason/Naim sistem. (my previous piccies were made in the evening, which resulted in terrible picture quality, and walls turning into orange Eek Big Grin )

So, here they are then:

Thanx Wolf.
Yes, imho it does sound great! I never expected this Diapason speaker to be such a great match with my Nait, but it is.
