chord solid or cobra

Between a Naim CD5 and an EAR 859 tube amplifier I will need a non-Naim interconnect. The Chord cobra and solid seems the most reasonable choices. What are the sound differences between these two cables? Or are there other alternatives?

The basic Chrysalis model is very simlar to Naims own intereconnects, I use it, as to many other folks, so I would save yourself some cash and buy the chrysalis.

The basic Chrysalis works well in an all-Naim system, but is embarrassed by other ampifiers, especially those which major on frequency extension at both extremes.

The Chord Silver Siren is not bad for the money, but the Odyssey is really the business, and if you only need one pair, the cost should not be too prohibitive.

It's always a nice day for it wink Have a good one! smile
