Half Yearly Review
Posted by: garyi on 04 July 2002
OK, end of June beginning of July and we have bleated on about the new musical realeases of the year and how good they are, and how essential the are etc etc.
But what are we still listening too? what realeases from June last year that we have all mentioned as good are still in our 'used pile?'
And which have been relegated to the 'Library?'
For me the following are still very much in the playing pile:
Lamb Chop, 'Is a woman' Will probably be my album of the year, rarely a day goes by where something off it is not played.
Dreadzone 'Sound' Had a dodgy start for me but has leveled out well and gets a regular weekly airing.
Groove Armada Goodbye country.. A good allround straight forward album
Fila Brazillia, Jump Leads My praise of this group has been unending, off this album I have bought all the rest.
And those I said were good, but alas are bored now:
David Homes come Get it, I got it Just to weird, just too, 'not right'
Timo Maas loud Crap
Travis Wake me when its finished.
so music from the last year you liked, do you still like, or has it been relegated to the library never to be seen again?
