Best ripper? Best Player?
Posted by: tuexoqu on 14 September 2009
Hello,
probably I will buy the new Naim DAC
And this is the news!!!
Now,
I want to transform all my CD collection in WAV (16 bit - 44,1 Khz).
Which is the best ripper in your opinion?
Someone says EAC, someone CDEX, WinAmp pro.
And then, which is the best player? Foobar? WinAmp? ...
And then, which is the best MusicKernel?
Asio4All?
thankyou

Non attachment is very buddhist, and that goes for age as well. Trying to hang onto something will only bring misery. Like old men chasing young girls..... is that a bad thing?

I am sure that a lot of misery can be caused by materialism. I have had too much upheaval since the age of nine to have ever manged to get into a materialist way of thinking. Nothing was to be taken for granted. One day I might have had something and the next it was gone.
There was a valuable lesson in that really, because I soon learned that what I had thought was something precious, something I would not choose to do without was perfectly dispensible in every case!
The net result is that if I like an object it is my greatest pleasure to give it away to someone I like!
If I dislike an object I take it to a charity shop, so that at least someone else may benefit, rather than me lumbering a friend with it!
The list of my posessions is therefore rather short and could probably - music collection aside - be obtained at a few car boot sales for less than 300 GBPs!
Dear mudwolf, I put a nice picture on the My New Repaly Set thread for you!

Liking aside, put me on the list for the Carlton, Lavry, and 72. I have no problems with materialism

No question of liking aside, but you must wait for me to be gone first in the case of necessities!
