Lucinda Williams - West

I always liked Lucinda's Car wheels on a Gravel Road, but her new one, West, is simply superb. She has a great voice and (like Natalie Merchant) is a lady who isn't overawed by getting out in front of a really muscular backing band. Oh, to hear her dueting with Terry Reid, now that would be something.

I really enjoy Lucinda's "music", can't say the same for her recordings. I trust that you're making this comment purely tongue-in-cheek.
All the best,

The music alone should be able to justify the purchase, but the production of her recordings has gone overboard with the use of compression more than once in the past.
Drag.

Would you Adam and Eve it I now have 2 copies of this. My sister in law thought I would like it so sent me a digi-pak copy from the States. God I hate digi-pak's.
I know I like it but christ not that much.
