Actually, everyone should have the latter - or indeed both!

Paul

I can almost accept that you may not like the look of the first, but the Charisma boxed set - how can there not be a multitude of interesting stuff there?

I mean, Monty Python! Bert Jansch! Monochrome Set! Genesis! The Bonzos! Sir John Betjeman! Michael Nyman! All on one label, for goodness sake!

Regards

Stephen

Crikey Stephen

There's stuff on those my subconscious had buried nicely, and you've unearthed them again!

The first one has some brilliant stuff on it, though how they managed to get gold of a Zappa track is a bit of a puzzle. I've got a hankering to hear what "Mummy Was An Asteroid, Daddy Was A Small Non-Stick Kitchen Utensil" sounds like - I'm sure Matthew Robinson must have a copy.

The second one has its' moments, but Charisma's quality control was never very good. Clifford T Ward! Argh! Though IIRC, wasn't Howard Werth seriously considered as a replacement for Jim Morrison at one point? You'd have to be in a funny mood to want to listen to that lot at one go...

I came here because I thought the reference was to a Pearl Jam song - "....are you woman enough to be my man?" but I was wrong.
