Duh!

It's going to be fun watching Massa come through the field on Sunday morning.

If only Kimi could string a few sentances together :-)

Good start for Hamilton, I think he might give Alonso something to think about tomorrow.

Now that MS is gone I can finally cheer for Ferrari with Kimi. Hamilton has been mighty impressive so far as well. I almost feel bad for Button though. Pretty embarassing to get outpaced by Super aguri!

I never cheered for M. Schumacher.

I am not a fan of celebrities.

I am a fan of Formula One.

I am also a fan of the Ferrari Formula One team.

It's never boring for me when Ferrari is winning - and when they're losing I just have to watch enough races to see them win again.

Red cars go faster.

Much faster!

Impressive F1 debut from Hamilton, Alonso was a touch lucky to get second.

It is perhaps not all that surprising when the tyre manufacturer with whom the scuderia have been building an intimate relationship for the last decade or so becomes F1's sole supplier.
Massa was disappointing to say the least.
e Basta.

You can't have had much fun between 1979 and 2000 Razz

He should have stayed a test driver for Ferrari.

Totally agree. I just hope the previously Michelin teams can come to terms with their new boots soon.
Mind you the money S.F. spend makes even Ron blanch.
They should use the Champ car idea and colour code the side walls so that Joe public can see who is on the soft/hard tyres.
Unfortunately James Alien hasn't got any better.

Howard either.

Yes, quite. Better still would be to stop playing silly buggers with the rulebook.

On the contrary! Been a tifoso since Lauda missed out in '76.

I miss Murray.

(Did you know that if you say "Murray" with an Irish accent - it sounds like "Mary" ?)

My humblest apologies.

(I am actually the humblest man in the world.)

Not much chance with Bernie and Max in charge.

For a change it seems we were lucky to have Channel 10 coverage here in Australia. They managed to coax Murray out of retirement (for the 2nd year in a row) and so we had the pleasure of him instead of James Allen. The other guy they had was Jeremy Shaw who I'm not so familiar with. He was pretty good with his observations but I think having an ex-driver around really makes a difference with the way they view things.

I don't think you can put too much blame on Massa. His car let him down in qualifying and then because of his grid position he did was forced to put in an extremely long stint on these new soft tyres that they must use for some phase of the race. To finish where he did after all that was about as much as you could expect really.

Here's to a slightly more interesting season than we've had for a while.

Regards
Scott

A friend of mine comes from Finland and have a relative that raced karts the same time as Kimi. Kimi hardly spoke a word before he was ten, his brother where with him at the races and did the talking. I'm quite impressed that he manages to get all the way to F1 under those circumstancies.

On the ITV TV commentary, Martin Brundle said that if you go out with Kimi he never stops talking. Can't quite picture it myself.

I think that's unfair to Kimi. He is a little quiet, but when he does speak to journalists he is always accurate and to the point, and quite often hilarious, e.g in Brazil last year when Brundle asked what he thought of Michael's farewell presentation and Kimi said "Sorry, I missed it - I had to go for a sh*t"

I think it's quite refreshing for someone not to feel the need to babble constantly about how great they (and 'the team') are, and to pretend to be interested in the family of the cousin of his team-mate's pr girl etc. etc...

First race of the season and already Ferrari(and BMW) are under suspicion of cheating. Sprung loaded plank end or some such thing. Some things never change.

Not that old sprung loaded plank end chestnut again!

New season a same old shit.

Still, more interesting to watch than bloody football. God the games just go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on

and on and on and then a goal...

Football hooliganism? It's coz it's boring, stupid.
