Is that possible to browse the actual file structure of my NAS with Naim interface (like nServe or UnityServe GUI)?
I don't use application menus (like Albums, Artists, Genres, Recent etc.) and prefer to navigate through my own structure of Music Folders.

No - you cannot just browse the filestructures - the point of the apps and UI's is to get away from that...

Thanks! I think I'm a bit conservative. My son uses iTunes and he never cares about file location or file names. He uploads an album and get access through Album/Artist menu
Let me also note fantastic customer support from Naim.

If you corral music types by genre, file format or what have you, it is possible to set up multiple (distinct) sharepoints on a NAS.
For example - one could set up a sharepoint for use as a Music Store, actively managed by the UnitiServe / HDX / NS0x. This starts out as a Network Share and is converted to a Music Store.
Another sharepoint (Network Share) could be set up for hi-res WAV files with artwork, arranged hierarchically by Album -> Artist -> files + cover art.
Yet another sharepoint can be used to "sandbox" new tags or file types for experimentation
Or you can set up a Network Share for files with groomed tags, say, from an existing library.
This will give you flexibility of navigating within separate "folders" on the NAS, while still keeping things tidy as far as the server is concerned.
