I know it has been asked before, but is there in the meantime any news on a possible successor of the AV2 (AV3)?

Just my 2p worth here. Naim will not be doing any more software updates for the AV2. Which would tell me its coming close to the end of its life.
There have been rumours for a long time about an AV3 I for one will be holding out for it Naim normally get it right.
I don't see any need to wait on the hi def formats as, You can produce a machine now that can decode the new formats and can be pic upgraded when better software arrives.
The signal paths, power supplys and overall dsp's that are used must have improved over the old Av2 which is now seven eight years old. That said its still one of the best currently on the market
