You are a grubby little troll and once again prove you are not one of us.
You have no Naim, so why stay here.

Yes, Acad should start a Czech Vodka thread so that he can be the centre of attention on his very own blog thread...

Deane
The difference is that although George had a long thread, it was good natured and lots of people joined in and it also did a lot in showing how the peoples of different nations live.
Acad just causes trouble and that is the difference.

Mick

Dear Deane,
I think what you would need to appreciate the Wodka Thread is a sense of humour. Perhaps the real answer is for you to ignore it. George

I do ignore it George, I do.

You seem to have a great interest in it though!
Though if you actually did read it through you would find that it is a place where many people exchange views entirely without any input at all from me - for weeks on end - and then I post about another nice exploit, related usually to the topic. I plan another Polish visit later this year and hopefully will post pictures and stories there again. No doubt you will have enough sense to avoid it!

This thread smacks of ganging up on people.
There's plenty opportunity to avoid or ignore those you don't get along with. I suggest you keep away from each other.

There were many indications of vote fraud in both the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections, but there hasn't been much reporting in reputable outlets in the US.

Dear Alexander,
Ignoring people is a two way street! I sometimes wish what you suggest could come to pass. There are times when it would please me no end.
The problem is that some people post such utter tripe that this needs to be countered so that it cannot gain some degree of credibility by implication if it is not challenged by those who find such opinions inimical. This dissonance is probably an inevitable downside of a public forum like this, so I doubt if it will change much. What makes the debate dissonant however is not the actual disagreement as such but the lack of grace shown by debaters who when they run out of reasoned argument take to personal abuse.
It is this element which is profoundly disappointing, and even if most of us fall from grace occasionally some actually here seem unable to grasp the concept of making a point or disagreeing politely at all. The best way to make a point is in such a fashion that it will be read right through and this involves a degree of civility in my view.
One may not like an idea, but at least one reads without be angered by the childish lack of style some people display here on a daily basis.
I don't think there are any active contributors here who are not "big enough, and bad enough" to look after themselves though.
In fact the incredible "robustness of the skin" of some may well be deterring others who would post here otherwise, and in that sense Mick is making a very valid point in my opinion. There is a difference between agreeing with someone and that being concerted action, as you seem to suggest in your use of the phrase, "Ganging up."

The chad counting issue was well covered by the BBC.

Thanks Phil. Election fraud is a serious business and we should all be aware of it imo.

Mick and George,
Trolling as far as I know is about being deliberately wrong in order to be contentious it is not about raising awareness of unreported political coups - something we should be concerned about. If there is anything you disagree with in the film I linked to then please give your thinking or you both just look like trolls yourself. Offer some substance not your snide big girl's blouse comments. You sound like a couple of old queens.

That would be Kings, Acad, even if you seem happy to propose sharing a bubble bath with Mick yourself! No doubt he would have more good taste and sense!
On Topic, I have come to the conclusion that the American of US origin will do whatever they like regardless of what I think. I am sure that the doubts about GW Bush's first election as Presidnet were adequately reported at the time on the BBC. Your leads seem a little behind the times...

Yeah...he's almost...nine months late...
2006 electiom fraud
I'm an American and I welcome this type of inquest. Unlike some people, I don't get my undies in a bunge everytime we are criticized. Americans believe in free speech last time I checked.
Hell, folks have been running us down forever. So what? a lot of the criticism is fucking true. I do it too. But if people can't see what's good about us for what's bad then that is a reflection on them, not us.

Dear Unstoppable,
I think everyone gets a bit perplexed by foreign countries - especially friendly ones. No doubt you could occasionally feel the same about the UK!
