another Sky HD question

If you upgrade from Sky + to Sky HD, do you need a different Sky dish?

No PB. You just swap the box out and reconnect the two feeds from the dish.

The main physical change is the Scart connection from box to TV becomes an HDMI connection - hence my original question regarding the auto screen size.

If one is not interested in sport or pay to view movies - is there enough HD content to warrant going HD at the moment?

I watch a lot of sport Derek, with the sound off and the hi-fi on.

Steve, a silly question. I seem to have a box with mine that seems to have a new middle of the dish bit in it, (excuse the technical term Big Grin)

It is a quad LNB (Low noise block) to enable you to record/watch two live channels at the same time and add an addition 2 regular Sky boxes or another HD or Sky+ box

However if you did not watch sport - would you still be going HD?

Thanks for that Derek, something I don't need as there is only me.

If it wasn't for the sport I watch I would not have Sky at all. My Sky+ box decided to stop working a few months ago and I just used the free digital tv box on the TV for a few months. I only went for SKY HD as I was missing the live football and Rugby and I was lucky enough to get a new box for not a lot,
