cale and eno

does anyone happen to know if the Brian Eno and John Cale collaboration Wrong Way Up is or has ever been available on vinyl (or is going to be)? I have an old CD copy but I'd like a vinyl version which I suspect - all things being equal - may be quite superb (if it exists).
Cheers

Never seen one, and it's a cd I'd replace with black stuff if I did see it.

AMG only shows CD and Cassette editions. It may not be a definitive list though.
Music stack is showing a couple of LPs for sale.

It was definitely released on vinyl - on Land Records (LAND 12) - as I have a copy! Happy hunting!!

Ah, so it is out there somewhere - I suspect very few copies though. I'll keep hunting. There is a record dealer up here in Aberdeen who has about 250 000 records in a large warehouse and I have been putting off a vist because I know it's going to cost me a fair bit of cash......

You need to hold on to that - for some reason it was deleted soon after it was released in 1990 and made only available on Cassette and CD. A strange collaboration in that Brian recorded it in his studio in Suffolk and Cale added the vocal in a studio in New York City.

Thanks for the good news!
I'll set it aside, next to my pristine vinyl of eno and jah wobble's 'Spinner' (marked No 292 on All Saints Records) and leave it to my grandchildren! ....or maybe I'll get them both out and give them a play tonight!
Ironically, eno is one of the reasons I shifted to cd - I couldn't get 'Nerve Net' on vinyl at the time. This was increasingly becoming the case with the non-mainstream material I was buying, so I started on my journey towards the CDS3 + 555, which is where my sanity (and my bank account) tell me I need to stop! Cheers,

I replied to the previous post a day or so ago in the negative.
I look today and my response has disappeared. It could be for some technical reason, but I'm wondering if I'm perceived to have broken some kind of rule around trying to sell things via the forum. It feels a little bit pathetic complaining, but I'm worried that if I don't react, assumptions that may have been made about me could seem to be correct.
I would appreciate someone explaining how I have broken any rule (if that is why I was deleted), I could certainly accept that the previous post may have been interpreted as a rule-breaking 'oblique reference to equipment wanted'....indeed the whole strand could be seen that way. If my response had been deleted alongside the previous post, I wold have not bothered, but as it is, I worry that I am now 'under suspicion'.
The facts are that I've been a non-participating/viewing member of this forum for two and a half years....someone asks a question that I can definitively answer and I feel it would be churlish not to respond, even though I'm not really a 'joiner' by nature. I respond, share a bit of personal information and appear to be under suspicion. If I had given a more equivocal response, I could understand....but I said 'no'....and the previous post remains!
I do understand that 'new' members are under the closest scrutiny, but I do not feel welcomed into the forum. Apologies for my sensitivity, if I've completely got the wrong end of the stick over this!

I have managed to find this - OK on the internet but if it's in reasonable condition then it will have been £15 well spent. looking forward to hearing this on vinyl, for sure

Just pulled my vinyl copy from the rack. Indeed, Land 12 (cat no 017203001210). Don't know when I bought it, but it has an our price sale label and cost £4.99!
Munch - you can have it for "a few hundred" if you wish
