NAIM NAIT 3r Upgrades

Posted by: Potiriadis on 06 June 2003

To any one with sage advice and experience to share:

Following in my Fathers extreme footsteps of NAIM addiction I have purchased a NAIT 3r.

While I have heard mixed reports from all corners on thsi amp I am happy to say that I love it. What I would like is a little more authority at low volumes and rumour has it that this can be sorted out with a FLATCAP.

As a seperate issue I am trying to get hold of a HEADLINE amp, to be powered by the FLATCAP, does anyone know it is also possible to use a NASC to drive the controls of the NAIT 3.

What I want overall is to use the FLATCAP for the pre-amp section of the NAIT3 and HEADLINE, using the NAPSC for the control section of the NAIT3, is such a thing possible.

A Flatcap 2 will suit your needs. It can power both the NAiT and the Headline.
You will need to ask your dealer (Or Naim) to add Din sockets to your Nait to plug an external PSU.
