Cleaning contacts in main breaker box?

Has anyone done this? I'm referring mainly to the contacts between the breakers and the bus bars.

Maybe I'm crazy to even consider this (especially since AC isn't our friend) but I have a hunch it'll help. My house is only 3-4 years old but surely some oxidation has set in.

The idea occured to me while watching the electrician install a dedicated line. I did manage to clean that particular breaker contact but balked at cleaning the other ones.

Do it once every six months when I clean system contacts Greg. I turn the main breaker off (kills the AC to the entire house) and then re-insert the hifi breaker several times to clean the contacts.

Once a decade I do it to the other breakers. However, unlike my hifi breaker, the stove and dryer doesn't sound any better afterwards;-)

best,
