A couple of very different gigs

Been to a couple of good gigs this week, tha I thought I would report on.
On Tues saw Pat Metheny & Charlie Haden play at Warwick arts centre, one of my favourite venues. Wonderful music, playing tracks off Missouri Sky, which is a must-have for all Pat or Charlie fans. They've only played live together about 15 times in 20 years, so this was a real treat. Only complaint was the half hour delay, and the fact that they played for less than 2 hours.
Last night caught The Soundtrack Of Our Lives at the Charlotte in Leicester. This is a small, dingy venue that specialises in indie & rock bands. The band were wild, and loud! The sound was appalling, but the atmosphere was brilliant. Good fun all round.
