'Say You Will'

Is it me, or is this a seriously shite recording?

Are Lindsey Buckingham's ears shot?

Unglaubliche.

(And my copy was made in the USA)

Radio friendly?

I'm listening to 'Thrown Down' from the album, played by Bob Harris and recorded onto cranky old analogue cassette (on a £200 Aiwa system) and ; you guessed it - it sounds bloody good.

Hmmmmmm.

I heard one track, played last week by johnnie Walker on R2, very Beach Boys sounding ending, really liked it so bought the CD. Now I can't make out which track it was - any clues?

I think it's quite a good sound really....

I like my seconds original recordings I've picked up lately. "Heros are Hard to Find" is my fav. "Bare Trees" is fun too. Gawd I'm in love with Chritine McVie. She really pulled them together for some fine songs.

Is she really in retirement? well good for her, I''m sure it was a really crazy time for the group touring and she is such a classy lady.

Come on guys

Some of you must have it by now. I have a Japanese re-mastered 'Rumours' that pisses on it.

People are turning out stuff in their bedrooms that murders this shocking 'production'.

(I do like a lot of the tracks, by the way)

Have I got a bum copy?

I generally get my CD's (by post) from the States, or Japan if I want the ultimate sound quality.

I was very disappointed with the recording/production of my USA copy, as you know. I compared it recently with a friend's Canadian copy, which was better; so I've bought a good old EU (Germany) produced copy, in Tesco; and guess what - it's miles better than both. Do CD stampers wear out, like vinyl ones used to, and make poor copies that still play?
