shm-cds ?

has anybody any imfo on the future releases of the shm-cds .this stands for super high material cd. developed by jvc,this material is suppose to give a better sounding cd which carnt be bad,to be released in the new year with a few big name artist. anyone heard anything .

no munch, more to do with the material that they are made of .list i have is the rolling stones , the who ,jimi hendicks and elton john .out in jan 08 for about £13 from cdjapan .

Surely the best CDs would be made of a more stable material the clear plactic [or whatever it is] like glass, and backed with something that does not oxidise as aluminium will, like gold?

I think this has been done, but I am not sure the change was aimed at sound quality so much as longevity.
