Dear George,
I have collected over the years a small collection of WRC(World Record Club) LPs.
These were originaly purchased on mail order. they were recorded onto heavy vinyl (in mono) and featured artists such as:-
Dinah Washington
Nat King Cole
Also classical music by Sir Malcom Sargent, this of course was in the early 60s.
My question is, do you know any of the history of this record label?
I am always on the lookout for this WRC label in the charity shops, to add to my present small collection of these.
Any info would be welcome.

i have a few of those 'World Record Club' LP's within my collection.
This Delius 5 x LP box-set is a gem, (photo below) and is in an amazing mint condition!
A year-date on the labels states 1976 but i find it hard to believe this was when these records were pressed out?
The box, insert and records still look like new, only the paper sleeves show some aging although i will change them after the records get a light RCM treatment.
For the time being i've sort of put this box-set aside for now... awaiting listening sessions on suitable cold dark winter evenings. I do like the work of Delius so it's something to look forward to : )
